I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 28th ult replying to my letter of the 24th ult, and forwarding for my information, by permission of the Duke of Newcastle, a Proclamation which regulates the disposal of Crown-land in British Columbia.

Having made an abstract of this Proclamation, I herewith return it, and beg to express my best thanks for the accommodation afforded me.
