Referring to my letter dated 29th Instant, asking for the Duke of Newcastle's authority to accept a Bill of Exchange drawn by the Governor of British Columbia, I have now the honor to enclose a copy of a letter since received from the Governor of British Columbia, in which he advises us of having drawn the same.
