<p>
I have the honor to transmit a letter addressed to you by
<persName ref="prs:mathew">M<hi style="vertical-align: super; font-size: 80%;">r</hi> Greville Mathew</persName>, Registrar of the Supreme Court of this Colony,

2. <persName ref="prs:mathew">M<hi style="vertical-align: super; font-size: 80%;">r</hi> Mathew</persName>'s statement is quite correct. By his accident
he is incapacitated for a long time, probably for life, from

enclose letters addressed to him by the Judge of the Supreme

which he is held by the Bench and Bar.

I do not see the most remote prospect of any patronage falling
into my hands. As stated in my despatch No. 33 of <date when="1864-09-05">5<hi style="vertical-align: super; font-size: 80%;">th</hi> September</date>,
