I have the honor to acknowledge your Despatch No. 15 of the 3rd of March, relative to Mr. Waddington's application for certain concessions in order to promote his projected construction of a Road from Bute Inlet to the interior of the Colony.

I find no reasonto to dissent from the judgment formed on this subject by you with the advice of your Executive Council, and I enclose, for your information, a copy of a letter which I have caused to be addressed on the subject to Mr. Waddingtons Agent in this Country.
