An Ordinance [to] further… extend the time granted to the Harewood Colliery Company Limited by the Harewood Railway Company's Act of 1864 for making and completing a Tramway from the Company's Mines to Departure Bay, Nanaimo and the corresponding Attorney General’s report. Holland’s minute summarizes ordinance 24, describes the ordinance’s effect, and advises sanctioning the ordinance.

I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the local Legislature entitled; No 24. An Ordinancefurther further to extend the time granted to the Harewood Colliery Company Limited by "the Harewood Railway Company's Act of 1864" for making and completing a Tramway from the Company's Mines to Departure Bay, Nanaimo.

This simple measure requires no further explanation than that furnished by the Attorney General in the report I enclose.
