I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to send you herewith for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies an acknowledgement of the receipt of a cheque for £10.4s.0d transmitted with the Colonial office letter of the 29th ulto on account of the Entertainment of Captain Kennedy late Governor of Vancouvers Island in HM'sShip Ship Sparrowhawk in April 1866.
