I am directed by Lord Stanley to request that you will move Her Majesty's Secretary of State for the Colonies to cause enquiry to be made respecting property which according to the accompanying translation of a Note from Count Bernstoff is supposed to have been leftby by the late J.H.C. Baar in British Columbia.
