I have received and read with much satisfaction your Despatch No. 129 of the 27th September reporting your visit to the Indian Settlement of Metlakahtla.

It has been most gratifying to me to learn from that Despatch how greatly the Indians in that neighbourhood have advanced in Civilization Civilization and prosperity.
