I have the honor to forward a Paper which will not be without
interest to Your Grace. It is a Minute by the Surveyor General
of this Colony on<fw type="catchword" style="text-align: right;">the</fw><pb facs="co_60_32/co_60_32_00187v.jpg"/> the subject of a Coach Road through British
Territory between the Pacific Coast and Canada, comparing the
various passes through the <placeName ref="plc:rocky_mountains">Rocky Mountains</placeName> and shewing the
extent of this Road already made in <placeName ref="plc:british_columbia">British Columbia</placeName>, and what
remains to be done to complete it beyond the Eastern Boundary of
the Colony to the head of Steam Boat Navigation on the <placeName ref="plc:sask_river">Saskatchewan</placeName>.
