With reference to previous correspondence on the subject of the
Mail service between this country and <placeName ref="plc:british_columbia">British Columbia</placeName>, I transmit to
you a copy of a letter which I have received from the Postmaster General
relating to an alleged arrangement with the Post<fw type="catchword" style="text-align: right;">Office</fw><pb facs="rg7_g8c_15/rg7_g8c_15_00172v.jpg"/> Office authorities of
the United States and of the answer which I have caused to be returned
to that letter.
