With reference to your despatch No. 5 of the 4th February, I transmit to you for your information and guidance, copies of a correspondence with the War Office from which you will see that the Department has consented to postpone its claim against your Governmentfor for £141.1.3 on account of stores supplied for the use of the Artillery Volunteers in British Columbia until such time as the Colony shall be in a position to liquidate it.
