Granville transmits a letter from the Foreign Office, enclosing a document from the Baden Consul for Weisshaar. Granville requests Seymour to forward the document to Weisshaar and to receive a signature, which is verified according to colonial regulations.

I have the honor to transmit to you a Copy of a letter from the Foreign Office enclosing a document from the Consul for Baden for transmission to Christian Friedrick Weisshaar, joiner Victoria Van Couvers Island.

I request that you willbe be so good as to cause that document to be forwarded to its destination, and that you will endeavour to procure an acknowledgment of its receipt from the person for whom it is intended.

The signature to this receipt should be properly attested, and should be verified by you in the manner pointed out at page 58 of the Colonial Regulations.
