At the request of Mr Samuel Harris a resident at Cowichan in this Colony I forward for Your Lordship's information the annexed Papers relative to a claim which was preferred against and has been paid by the Governmentof of Colombia, and in which he is interested. He asks that application may be made at the Foreign Office that the sum in the hands of that Department at his credit may be placed to the account of British Columbia with the Crown Agents and that authority may be issued to me to pay the same through the Treasury here, to him.
