I have settled the Bill relating to British Columbia according to my instructions. Care must be taken that the Bill is sufficiently wide to cover any order in Council intended to be made in pursuance thereof.

Sir F. Rogers I suppose this Bill as settled may now proceed. Ld Granville has (I think) decided to introduce it in the Lords.

I annex the draft Order in Council. I think the proposed Act is wide enough to cover the different provisions of the Order.
