I have received your Despatch No. 49 of the 28th April forwarding an [?] approval of Her Majesty and authenticated copy of an Ordinance passed by the legislature of B. Columbia entitled No. 9 of 1870 "An Ordinance respecting the enforcement of Municiple [Municipal] By-Laws."

I have to convey to you Her Majesty's gracious confirmation and allowance of this Ordinance.
