With reference to your letter of the 18th instant I beg leave to inform you that the telegram to which you refer was correct when handed over to the Anglo-American Telegraph Company by this Department and I have, therefore, referred your letter to the Secretary of that Company and on receipt of his reply a further communication shall beaddressed addressed to you.
