<p>The minutes allow one of <persName ref="prs:martin_rm">Martin</persName>'s document requests, as the rest are implicated in ongoing <orgName ref="org:hbc">HBC</orgName> negotiations.</p>
<p>This file encloses a draft letter from <persName ref="prs:merivale_h">Merivale</persName> to <persName ref="prs:martin_rm">Martin</persName> that forwards copies of some papers on the subject of <placeName ref="plc:vancouver_island">Vancouver Island</placeName>.</p>
