Hamilton writes to Merivale, as commanded by the Admiralty, to convey, for Newcastle, a letter from Admiral Moresby regarding the proceedings of the Squadron.

This file encloses a letter, from Moresby to the Admiralty, which reports on the status and courses of the Pacific squadron, and mentions the Trincomalee’s plan to arrive at Vancouver Island in early April.
