Newcastle writes to Douglas to transmit a proclamation issued by New Brunswick's Lieutenant Governor, with regards to the Passengers Act of 1852, which contains information on the treatment of emigrants; however, the proclamation referenced in the letter is missing from the RG7 files.

I transmit for your information the accompanying Proclamation issued by the Lieut. Governor of New Brunswick under the 85th Clause of the Passengers Act 1852, for declaring the length of the Voyage of Vessels carrying Emigrants from that Province to other parts of the World, and fixing the dietary Medeanes to be supplied.
