March 5th 1856 Mr Smith presents his Compliments to Mr Ball, and agreeably to his request, begs to return the Tracing of the "Strait of Juan De Fuca" and adjoining Country, transmitted with his letter of the 22nd Ultimo to the chairman of the Hudson's Bay Company.
