The minutes acknowledge receipt and thank Barwise for his suggestion.

Enclosed is a draft from the CO to Barwise thanking him for his letter; and Barwise to Malmesbury advising that if the HBC’s charter over the colony was renewed, all mineral rights should be reserved to the Crown.
