<p>I am instructed to state that a Deputation of Directors from the Company are desirous of waiting upon you on the subject of Mail communication with <placeName ref="plc:british_columbia">British Columbia</placeName>, in extension of the line now existing to Colon, and I am respectfully to solicit the favor of your granting them an interview in reference thereto.</p>
<p>If quite convenient to yourself the Deputation will be happy to wait on you on <pb facs="co_6_26/co_6_26_00315v.jpg"/>Monday next at two o'clock.</p>
