2. Cooper to James Douglas, 15 November 1856, offering to apply lease payments to Bilston farm and Thetis cottage to pay for Bilston farm.
3. John Work to Cooper, 15 December 1856, agreeing to accept the rent of the two properties "provided you give sufficient security that the rent be paid over to the Company as it becomes due," but the balance remaining must be charged with interest.
4. Receipt signed by Roderick Finlayson 6 January 1857, of copy of Cooper's arrangement to rent Bilston Farm to Robert Weir for five years, and to rent his Esquimalt house to Mr. Margary.
5. Cooper to Margary, 10 January 1857, authorizing him to pay rent of Thetis Cottage to the Hudson's Bay Company.
6. Cooper to J.S. Helmcken, 12 January 1857, authorizing him to act as his agent for selling Bilston Farm for not less than £1500 and Thetis Cottage for not less than £1000.
