In reply to your letter of the 30th Ultimo 1 requesting that arrangements might be made on board the Freight Ship "Briseis" for the reception of a party of NonCommissioned Officers of the Royal Engineers & Royal Artillery, with their Families, together with an Officer's Servant, for conveyance to Vancouver's Island—I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of Sir Edward Lytton Bulwer, that orders for the accommodationofManuscript image of the persons referred to were given upon a requisition from the Horse Guards, received on the 30th Ultimo. 2
