With reference to your letter of the 27th Inst; 1 I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messr Cox on account of Col Moody the sum of £82.3.10 as an advance for 120 days on the pay of the Staff Assistant Surgeon attached to the Expedition to British Columbia.
