I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & Co on behalf of Col Moody the sum of £3,400 on account of the Expenses of Stores for the British Columbia Expedition as requested in Mr Elliots Letter of yesterdays date. 1
