Sir,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your very condescending
reply to my application for an appointment in British Columbia,
and respectfully beg to say, that should any opening occur in
either a public or private capacity, at a future time, for which
I may be deemed eligible, I shall be most happy to fill it in
that Colony.
