Sir,
I enclose for your information a Copy of a letter from the Archbishop of Canterbury announcing to me the munificent endowment offered by Miss Burdett Coutts for the foundation of a See in British Columbia, togetherwithManuscript image with my reply to that communication.1
I have as you will perceive by the correspondence gladly accepted this noble contribution to the cause of Christianity, and I rejoice to think that the service and ministrations of the Church will not be wanting to the early stages of Colonial life.
I have the honor to be
Sir,
Your most Obedient
Humble Servant
