As no person did so much since 1854 to enlighten the people here &
in Canada on the Hudson's Bay Question, I, at least thought, taking my references
               &
testimonials into account that I should have had an appointment in the new Colony.

Owing to the Indians not being allowed to sell their gold to the best buyer, the Co buy it from them @ 15$, much under the Value. No doubt orders have been sent out
to prevent a continuance of this injustice.

            Offering my services &
trusting that my claims as stated in my letter to the R
t Hon
J. Whiteside will not be overlooked.
