I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your Despatch of the 16th November 1858, No 41, acquainting me that a Bond has been executed by Captain W.D. Gosset, himself in two thousandManuscript imagethousand pounds (£2000), and two Sureties in one thousand pounds (£1000) each, for the performance of the duties of Colonial Treasurer of British Columbia, and I beg to inform you that due record shall be made of this transaction.
