With reference to your Despatch of the 15th Ultimo, No 76, upon the subject of the erection of Light Houses upon two very important positions off the Coast of Vancouver's Island, I have now theManuscript imagethe honor to submit to you herewith a very complete and valuable report upon the subject, which has kindly been made to me, in accordance with my request, by Captain Richards of Her Majesty's Ship Plumper, together with Tracings of the Line of Coast exhibiting the exact positions upon which the Lights should be placed.
