In reply to your Despatch of the 27th January last No 8, instructing me to reserve a certain portion of Land at Esquimalt for Naval purposes in compliance with a request from the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, I have the honor to informManuscript imageinform you that directions will be issued without delay for carrying their Lordship's wishes into effect.
