I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 30 of the 10th March acquainting me that the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, have at the recommendation of Rear Admiral Baynes, given orders for two GunManuscript imageGun Boats to be fitted for service in British Columbia.
2. I have received this intelligence with extreme satisfaction, as these vessels will be exceedingly useful to the Colony.
