I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch,
No 136, of the 12th
April last, containing further reports on the general state of
British Columbia and forwarding for my inspection a nugget of Gold which
had been recently found at Bridge River.

interesting specimen of the metallic produce, of the new Colony.
