I have duly received your Despatches Nos 35 & 36 of the 21st and 22nd March referring to the disturbances at Ft Yale and the suspension of Mr Perrier.
2. I have communicated toManuscript imageto Colonel Moody your approval of the course he adopted in proceeding to Fort Hope, with the party of Royal Marines and Royal Engineers.
3. With reference to your observations respecting the inaccuracy into which I had fallen, by designating Colonel Moody the Lieutenant Governor, I will take care that your instructions uponManuscript imageupon this point shall in future be duly attended to.
