I have the honor to acknowledge your Despatch No 51 of the 12th April acquainting me that you were unable to sanction any increase in the expenditure of Colonel Moody'sManuscript imageMoody's Department which might add to the sum which will have to be voted by Parliament as an advance for that service, and I have duly communicated to Colonel Moody, your decision on that point.
