Sir,
I have duly received your Despatch No 57 of the 29th April, transmitting the Copy of a letter from Mr John Barnston of Montreal, relative to his sons exclusion from practice in the Courts of British Columbia, and Vancouvers IslandManuscript imageIsland. I have the honor to inform you in reply thereto, that I will take steps, at an early period, for procuring the admission of Lawyers, educated either in Canada, or the British Colonies generally, to practice in the courts of British Columbia, and Vancouvers Island.
