In reply to Your Grace's Despatch No 4 of the 1st July last, I have the honor to state that according to Your Grace's instructions, I have informed ColonelManuscript imageColonel Moody that the Stores destroyed in the "Briseis", with the exception of the Iron houses and a quantity of forage, would be replaced and sent to this Colony without delay; and I shall be careful that no expenditure is incurred on that account beyond what is absolutely necessary pending the arrival of the Stores from England.
