The Mission Board of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland are desirious of sending one or more Ministers of their body to the new Colony of British Columbia, North America. They have directed me, as Governor of the Colonial Mission, to inquire whether, in case of such appointments being made, the Government would afford any assistance or encouragement in regard to passage or otherwise.
