In the absence of the Governor of the Hudson's Bay Company, I have the honour to inform you that the letter which you addressed to that gentleman on the 14th Instant, on the Subject of the Company's claims to land in British Columbia, has been forwarded to him in Scotland, where he now is.
Mr Berens is expected to arrive in Town in the course of next week, when he will, no doubt give due attention to the Subject.
