Sir,
With reference to the arrangements in progress in regard to the sums properly chargeable to Naval and Military Funds, on account of expenditure in British Columbia; I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, to transmit to you, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, the enclosed copy of a Statement, submitted by the Paymaster General, showing the amount of Bills drawn by direction of the Governor of British Columbia, and the amount of which paymentManuscript imagepayment has been authorized by this Board.
