My Lord Duke,
With reference to your Circular Despatch of the 23rd July 1860, respecting the withdrawal of the property of Bavarian Subjects from the British Possessions, I have the honor to acquaint your Grace that Manuscript image that there is no Colonial Law in British Columbia which would militate against the Declaration proposed to be exchanged with the Government of Bavaria to extend the terms of the Declarations of 1836 to all the British Colonies and Possessions.
