My Lord Duke,
With reference to Your Grace's despatch No 25 of the 18th May, forwarding a letter from Mr T.M. Magee relative to some property left by one Bernard Rice who was shot at Yale, British British Columbia Manuscript image Columbia Columbia in December 1858, I have now the honor to transmit for your Grace's information copy of a Report I have received from Mr Whannell late Justice of the Peace at Yale, into whose charge the effects of the deceased were given.
2. Mr Whannell's explanation of the disposition he Manuscript image he made of Rice's effects appears to me to be satisfactory, and I am unable after diligent enquiry to furnish Your Grace with information on this subject from any other quarter.
