My Lord Duke,
I have the honor to acquaint your Grace that the sum of Six thousand Pounds (£6000) being the amount already due and that will be required, for Military services up to the end of the present year, I have authorized Manuscript image authorised the Treasurer to draw for the said sum in the usual manner by Bills on Her Majesty's Paymaster General, and I have to request your Grace will be pleased to obtain the necessary authority from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury for the Bills presented on this account to be paid when they become Manuscript image become due.
