Sir,
We have the honor to enclose a Certificate showing that
Colonel R.C. Moody, Royal Engineers, HM's Chief Commissioner
of Lands and Works, British Columbia was alive on 1st October
last, and we request that the usual authority may be issued to the
Paymaster General to pay the salary of that officer to 30 Sept: 1860.
