In compliance with the request expressed in your despatch No. 20 of the 15th of February last, I enclose a copy of the Extradition Treaty of 1842 between Her Majesty and the United States of America. I also enclose a copy of the Secretary of States Circular Instructions covering the Imperial Act 627 Vic Cap. 76. givingManuscript imagegiving effect to the 10th Article of that Treaty.
