I have received and read with interest your despatch No. 42 of the 23rd of April, containing a general report on the Colony of British Columbia, and on the progress which has been made in opening up the Country.
I do not doubt that you cannot apply your attention to an object more important toManuscript image to the Colony than the improvement of it's internal communications.
