Requisition having been made upon me for the sum of about Two Thousand Pounds (£2000) required to defray the balance of expenditure on Military account for1860Manuscript image 1860, I have the honor to acquaint Your Grace that I have instructed the Treasurer to procure that sum by Bills on Her Majesty's Paymaster General in the usual manner, and I have to request your Grace will obtain the necessary authority from the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury for the Bills presentedonManuscript image on this account to be paid when they become due.
