Abstract
Despatch to London. Minutes (2), Enclosures (untranscribed) (1), Other documents (1).
Douglas writes to Newcastle to forward the expenditures for “the parties of Royal Engineers” conveyed to British Columbia under the command of Grant and Parsons, in 1858.
The minutes ask that Douglas's despatch be sent on to the Treasury.
The first of the enclosed documents is missing from the file, and the second is a draft reply from Rogers to Hamilton, which forwards Douglas's despatch and enclosure.

I have the honor to forward herewith accounts of the expenditure incurred by Captains Grant and Parsons in conveying the parties of Royal EngineersunderManuscript image under their command to British Columbia in 1858.
2. I have to apologize for the delay that has taken place in the transmission of these Documents, but I only yesterday received the Balance Sheets in a complete form from Colonel Moody.
