We have the honor to enclose a certificate to the effect that Colonel R.C. Moody, Royal Engineers, was alive and performing his duties, as Commissioner of Lands & Works for British Columbia, on 1st July last, and request that you will be good enough to direct the usual authority to issue to the Paymaster General for the payment of that officer's Salary to 30 June.
